myVideoPoster 1.9.7 – WordPress MU Compatible!
myVideoPoster v. 1.9.7 is now WordPress MU compatible.
Due to the efforts and assistance of a customer, myVideoPoster now runs fully compatible with WordPress MU. This means you can provide automatic posting of Youtube videos for your bloggers, or you can even run a WordPress MU site that automatically adds video content to each blog. (The settings for each blog can be tweaked individually).
The main news for the 1.9.7 is the WordPress MU compability, however there are a few other things to be noticed, especially for current customers:
- Automatically trims the annoying “Views:” “Ratings” “From:” etc. from the posts.
- The Settings Page have gotten a visual overhaul.
- Better notes to explain the individual settings.
- “Niche Researcher” has been separated from the Settings.
- Now checks up the latest 50 videos from the RSS feed (Maximum setting from Youtube).
myVideoPoster posts Youtube videos on your blog automatically!
- Include comments (optional)
- Embed videos in post and/or as custom field
- Embed images in post and/or as custom field
- Host images on your own server – SEO optimized names
- SEO optimized post urls
- Create tags (optional)
As per the announcement of this release, the price will go up for myVideoPoster at the end of this week. The price is currently set at $40, but that will soon change to $59.95. So get it now while the price is still LOW!
